Fifteen High School Students Inducted into National Honor Society

On March 14, 2018, the former National Honor Society inductees became the inductors. Fifteen students were awarded membership into the Eagle Chapter of the National Honor Society based on their ability to achieve and surpass the necessary pillars of the Society: scholarship, service, leadership and character.

Students must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.8 or higher; however, membership does not just require academic excellence. Members must also strive for 10 or more service hours a semester, be actively involved in multiple school clubs, hold a leadership position within the school, and have a respected all-around demeanor and personality.

As candles were lit by current members to symbolize these four requirements, new inductees ignited their own flames to symbolize their official acceptance into the Eagle Chapter of the National Honor Society and commitment to always be involved members of society.
