SPSD COVID-19 Tracker

Active cases refer to individuals currently in the isolation period following a positive or presumed-positive case of COVID-19. These individuals are not currently cleared to return to school/work.

Inactive cases refer to individuals who have completed the COVID-19 isolation period and are cleared to return to work/school.

The rolling 14-day totals by school are the number of student/staff cases in each building for the current 14-day period. This metric is used by the Pennsylvania Departments of Health and Education when determining specific mitigation efforts after the identification of a case or cases in a school building. If a building transitions to remote learning due to positive cases, the 14-day rolling total for that building resets once students return to the building. Cases among cyber academy students are not counted towards a building's 14-day rolling total.
The district must close a building or buildings for the time specified by the Pennsylvania Departments of Education and Health following the identification of 4 or more cases in a school building over a 14-day rolling period.

When a positive case is confirmed, the South Park School District emails a health notice to all district families and staff. These health notices are archived on the district's website and can be viewed by clicking here.
