Soldier’s Heart by Gary Paulsen
Homework will be given on a weekly basis.
Assignments are expected to be completed on time. The work should be neat and organized.
In the case of an absence, it is the student’s responsibility to get the assignments and submit them within a time period that is equivalent to the amount of days absent. Failure to complete the assignment will result in a zero for that assignment.
HOMEWORK IS 10% OF THE STUDENT’S TOTAL GRADE!
Students must have a Social Studies notebook for recording daily bell ringers (which will be graded), as well as taking notes and recording vocabulary terms.
Students must have a separate folder for all Social Studies materials to be kept.
80- 89% Above standard
65-69% Minimum standard
0-64% Fails to meet standard
Your grades will be posted on HAC.
Student Expectations & Responsibilities:

2. Respect one another. Treat others as you would expect to be treated.
3. Be prepared for class.
4. Listen while others are talking.
5. Raise your hand and wait to be recognized.
6. Leave cell phones and electronic devices in your locker.
