Financial Aid Night and a FAFSA Workshop will be held in the high school media center on Wednesday, October 23 from 6:30-8:30 p.m.

What is the FAFSA?
The FAFSA is the most important application that must be completed in order to qualify for all financial aid including federal, state, local, and private grants and scholarships.

Kim McCurdy, a representative from PHEAA, will be giving a presentation on financial aid and then will be available to help parents complete the FAFSA form online during that evening.

Please bring with you the following (if available):

  • Parent and Student Social Security numbers
  • Parent and Student Driver’s License numbers
  • 2018 Parent and Student W-2 Forms
  • 2018 Parent and Student Federal Income Tax Return Forms
  • Current bank statements and records of stocks, bonds, and investments
  • Laptop
  • FSA ID – Both the student and one parent each need to create their own Federal Student Aid username and password at www.fsaid.ed.gov at least three days prior to the event. If you are unable to do so, do not worry, we can help you complete and submit the FAFSA, and you will just need to sign the FAFSA with your FSA IDs later.

Please RSVP if your child and you will be attending by Friday, October 18, 2019 to Stacie.klocek@sparksd.org or 412-655-3111 ext. 2010.
