Our goal has been and continues to be the addition of more days of in-person instruction for those students enrolled in the in-person learning track. As local conditions improve, the district will begin this process on Monday, February 1, when South Park Elementary Center will transition to up to four days of in-person instruction per week. Elementary center families received additional details about that operational change on Monday, January 25.
Following the transition at South Park Elementary Center, the South Park School District intends to transition its high school students enrolled at Steel Center for Career and Technical Education to four days of in-person instruction at Steel Center beginning on Monday, February 8. Wednesdays remain a remote learning day at Steel Center. Steel Center families will receive additional details from the district in the coming days.
Our current plan is to transition South Park Middle School and South Park High School to up to four days of in-person learning in the weeks following the changes at the elementary center and Steel Center. Additional details and tentative dates for these changes will be communicated with families soon.
Your support is appreciated as we prepare for the second semester of the school year.
