Transportation Request for Proposal

The South Park School District invites qualified vendors to submit proposals for CONTRACTED SCHOOL BUS TRANSPORTATION. The District’s Request for Proposal document can be found by visiting the Business Office page under the Administration tab at sparksd.org.

MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING

All interested vendors must attend a mandatory meeting at which time District personnel will be available to answer questions regarding the proposal. The meeting is scheduled for Thursday, February 23, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. in the Administration Building, 2005 Eagle Ridge Drive, South Park, PA.

SUBMISSION OF PROPOSALS

The vendor shall submit two (2) signed copies (1 original, 1 photocopy) of the completed proposal in a sealed envelope clearly marked “TRANSPORTATION RFP”

 Proposals are due by 10:00 a.m. – Monday, March 6, 2017

TENTATIVE TIME SCHEDULE

Initial Review of Proposals – March 6 through March 20

Conduct Interviews with vendors, if necessary – March 21 through March 24

Final Review – March 25 through March 31

Contract Awarded by Board – April 13
